The Biggest Little Station in Texas!
98.9 LPFM — San Antonio, Texas
98.9 LPFM is a locally owned and operated Christian radio station and an entity of Lighthouse Network, Inc. We share the Gospel throughout the San Antonio area through FM radio and online broadcasting.
Our History: From 101.5 LPFM to 98.9 LPFM
Lighthouse Network began its FM broadcasting journey as 101.5 LPFM.
On February 13, 2019, Lighthouse Network, Inc. received its initial license for 101.5 LPFM, marking an important milestone in the organization’s mission to reach the San Antonio community through local radio.
As the ministry continued to grow, the station transitioned from 101.5 LPFM to 98.9 LPFM.
September 18, 2026, marked the FCC grant of 98.9 LPFM, establishing the next chapter in Lighthouse Network’s local broadcasting history.
Today, 98.9 LPFM continues the mission of bringing Christian programming, encouragement, and the Good News of Jesus Christ to listeners throughout the San Antonio area.
The Message Radio Connection
Lighthouse Network’s internet broadcasting ministry began with Message Radio on March 7, 2007.
Message Radio became the English-language station of Lighthouse Network and a natural fit for our FM broadcasting ministry.
As Lighthouse Network expands its international network, our vision is to add stations in additional countries and use programming in the languages spoken by the people in those regions.
Through FM radio and internet broadcasting, we are working to take the Gospel farther, reaching people wherever they are.
